That had to be the most foolish letter I’ve ever seen in my life, talking about that a police officer, even if he shoots someone in self-defense, should lose his job. So he has to make a choice of whether to lose his job or lose his life. These are people who have families, wives, children who depend on them. They have a pension. You could imagine a 25-year veteran in that situation and facing someone who is on drugs or whatever and turning around and pointing a gun at him and having to decide whether to shoot and kill him and lose his pension, and his family have an economic hardship, or go ahead and die so his family could get the life insurance. A white security guard was doing his job on Sunday evening at Food Lion on East Market Street, and he was shot and killed by a black man. Where is the outrage and protesting with white lives matter signs? Amazingly, the patrons of the store made several comments that, while it was tragedy, it could happen anywhere, and it was just the times we live in. Really? Well, a black man is killed, and it is a different story. In the past 18 months there have been A&T and apartment complex shootings in Greensboro and all are black-on-black shootings, residents and party goers who are black complaining that landlords and school officials are not doing enough to protect them and using the Black Lives Matter slogan. Yes, I just got done watching the second presidential debate. I guess Hillary Clinton’s true colors just came to light. Donald Trump spent all night apologizing for what he said for his locker room talk, but not one time did Hillary Clinton apologize for getting a rapist off for a plea deal. And one of the things that she did mention is that she was going to try to repeal the Hyde Amendment, what she calls discriminatory.
