Unfortunately, there have been several missing persons cases in Guilford County this year – some under mysterious circumstances with few leads for authorities to go on.

On Monday, Aug. 19, the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office reissued a request for county residents to be on the lookout for David Sylvester Mobley (pictured above), who was last seen in either February or March of this year.

“We appreciate the continued support of the community and ask for your help in spreading the word,” the press release this week stated regarding the case that has generated few clues.

If you have any information regarding Mobley’s whereabouts, you’re being asked to contact Guilford County Sheriff’s Office Detective J. M. Allen at 336-641-2799 or call Guilford County Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

Calls to Crime Stoppers can be made anonymously.

Mobley is a black male who is 5’5” and weighs about 115 pounds. His daughter’s name, Samiya, is tattooed on one of his forearms in Chinese or Arabic.

Mobley was last seen possibly wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a snapback hat.

He’s been known to frequent several areas in Greensboro including US 29, Bessemer Ave., Summit Ave., Landerwood Drive, Freeman Mill Road., McConnell Road and Memphis Street.
