Early voting for all municipalities in Guilford County other than Greensboro and High Point is now open for those who want to avoid the crowds on Election Day.
OK, so there probably really won’t be any big crowds for these small-town elections. However, if you’re the type of person who likes to go ahead and get things out of the way, you now have that opportunity.
Here’s a list of towns and one district that are currently holding elections for town council seats and other positions: Burlington, Jamestown, Kernersville, Oak Ridge, Stokesdale, Summerfield, Whitsett, Gibsonville, Sedalia, Pleasant Garden and the Sedgefield Sanitary District.
The early voting locations are as follows:
- The first-floor Blue Room of the Old Guilford County Court House at 301 W. Market Street in downtown Greensboro. This will be the only site open during the first part of early voting. On Sunday, Oct. 24, the following additional sites open up.
- The Bur-Mil-Club at 5834 Bur-Mil Club Road in Greensboro.
- Kimball Hall at the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Historic Site at 6136 Burlington Road in Gibsonville.
- Jamestown Town Hall at 301 E. Main Street in Jamestown.
Early voting locations are all closed on Saturday, Oct. 16, Sunday, Oct. 17, Saturday, Oct. 23, Sunday, Oct. 31 and Monday, Nov 1.
Hours vary by location and date. It can be complicated so check to make sure a site is open before heading out. Voters can get more information at guilfordelections.org or by calling 336-641-3836 and speaking with the always very friendly and helpful Board of Elections staff in the Old Guilford County Court House.
The early voted runs from Thursday, Oct. 14 to Saturday, Oct. 30. Election Day will be on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
When can we vote out the liberal cackling hens of Greensboro?
Vote early, vote often!!
And the ONE vote that would help to bring Greensboro into a better quality leadership for ALL us citizens is NOT on the ballot because THEY voted themselves into office for another year. Why would anyone even vote.. Everything is going to be the same, nothing matters. We can’t do anything about the REAL problems and WE all know what the real problems are. WHAT A JOKE!!!!
We need and EXAMPLE BALLOT! I TRIED TO GET FROM BALLOTMEDIA…NO GO.
Please vote out all Democrats that are on ballots. We need a good cleansing of our leaders in Greensboro/Guilford County.
